Future Generation Mentors provide mentoring for young people age 13-21
Mentoring is essential for youth. It provides guidance during a pivotal period of identity formation and growth. Youth face academic challenge, pressures, family challenges, peer influences, and decisions making regarding their future. Mentoring and offers a trusted, non-judgmental source of support, to help them build confidence, develop critical thinking, time management, set attainable goals, life skills, and support in making informed positive choices.
Mentoring encourages positive self-esteem, support, a listening ear, positive reinforcement enabling youth to navigate this transformative phase successfully.
Additionally, mentoring exposes young people to opportunities, and role models that may inspire them to set meaningful goals, consistency, focus and cultivate healthy habits by offering encouragement and accountability. This type of support is invaluable in shaping and preparing youth for the challenges of adulthood.

Thorpe Park – Important Information
We’re excited for the upcoming youth trip to Thorpe Park!
This fun-filled day promises adventure, bonding, and memories to last a lifetime.

All staff attending the trip are DBS-checked and First Aid trained, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young people throughout the day. Our designated driver is fully licensed to operate both cars and larger vehicles, providing a safe and comfortable journey for everyone on board. Snacks will be provided on the minibus for the ride.
Young people can choose to bring a packed lunch or purchase food from the many on-site food outletsand once at Thorpe Park.
